PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Israel Through the Eye of Joseph is a fine art photography project that will capture the timeless history, magnificent scenery, and diverse cultures and religions of Israel. Inspired by his parents’ loving memory, and the culmination of Joseph Robinson’s artistic and spiritual journey Israel Through the Eye of Joseph will produce 20,000 expressive film and digital images of Israel created with Joseph’s distinctive, intuitive style, as one with the spirit of Israel’s people. A book, written by O. Henry Award-winning author Steve Heller, will capture Joseph’s deep emotional experience and revelations about the realized dream that is Israel today, and a documentary video will en-richen the experience for viewers.
Israel Through the Eye of Joseph will be told in the backdrop of the religious and historical context that is today's Israel. The artist Joseph Robinson is a registered member of the Jewish Holocaust Survivors and their Descendants, and is in the national registry of Jewish Holocaust Survivors. He was born in 1946 in a Displaced Persons Camp in Zeilsheim, Germany. Please Donate through the link below to ensure that this vision of today's Israel comes to life.
In this age of sensationalized news the only views of Israel that reach us are negative: images of discord, destruction, and death. Ignored are the miraculous achievements of Israel as a democracy with a thriving economy that reflects its incredicble achievements in education, agriculture, ecology, science, medicine, and social institutions.
Israel Through the Eye of Joseph is a project of International Humanities Center, a 501(c)(3) charitable trust. All donations are tax-deductible. To learn more, or to make a donation, please click on the link below.
